Hi Maria I think the Blog is a very good idea! The family and I are already making plans to visit Guatemala! We will have to wait till Sammy is a little older, but Job and I have been talking about it.
Karen Lowell and I are the parents of Elder Thomas Lowell, currently serving in Peten, Guatemala in your mission.
I enjoyed speaking with your son who helped put together your reception on the phone last month.
Karen and I were excited and planning to come meet with you at your reception, but our car suddenly developed transmission problems, thus preventing us to come.
I think that your blog site is divinely inspired. Your missionaries and their families can keep in touch with you as time moves on...
We love our son Thomas ("Tommy" to us) and enjoy reading his emails every week.
