Guatemala City North Mission

...let us labor diligently: for if we should cease to labor, we should be brought under condemnation for we have a labor to perform whilst in this tabernacle of clay, that we may conquer the enemy of all righteousness, and rest our souls in the kingdom of God. Moroni 9:6

How blessed we are

On April 13th we received a wonderful new group of missionaries. 20 total. This means that 2/3 of our mission has missionaries who have been in the mission 6 months or less. Some of the new Senior companions are fairly new themselves, yet we have faith that they will do just fine, because this work is not the work of young men, but this work is of God. It is to bring about salvation to the souls of Guatemala who are ready to enter into a covenant with Him.
Our new missionaries are Elder Lusty, Landon Anderson, McPhee, Hebert, Thacker,Anhder, Winkel, Fadel, Bronson, Hatch, Morrow, Dixon, Smith, Castro, Jose Gonzalez, Monzon, Chavarria, Chirinos and Sisters Endicott and Gomez. We have been waiting for you...now we can move forward!

Mission Zone Leaders

Due to the many changes in the mission we have also seen a great deal of change in our leadership. These Zone Leaders are working hard to help us reach our goals...two baptisms per companionship, per month. With an emphasis on families and priesthood age men.

One thing for sure...missionaries love taking pictures. Hollywood has nothing over the photographers of the mission. All we lack is the red carpet!

Jolly Ranchers for polished shoes

Missionaries have a challenge keeping shoes polished, when all the streets have dust and mud. So as an incentive to do the "impossible" they are rewarded for bringing polished shoes to Zone Conference. It is very "sweet" to see them line-up for their reward. Nice shoes Elders!
