Missionaries in the Poptún area along with help from office Elders and local priesthood leadership delivered supplies to children just before they were to start their new scholastic year. January 24, 2009. The bags were sent from the Church’s Humanitarian Department. The lovingly handmade bags were filled with lined paper notebooks, pencils, erasers, colored pencils, scissors and a ruler to help give these children a great start to their learning.

Poptun was my first area...its good to see Presidente Molina and Presidente Palacios and Hermana Reina, in the second picture. I actually baptized her son while I was there. Thanks for the pictures, they made my day!
