Guatemala City North Mission

...let us labor diligently: for if we should cease to labor, we should be brought under condemnation for we have a labor to perform whilst in this tabernacle of clay, that we may conquer the enemy of all righteousness, and rest our souls in the kingdom of God. Moroni 9:6

The Lord looketh upon the heart

Jan 19th we trained our English speaking missionaries. They had a luncheon at the mission home and then were introduced to their new companions. We had 11 come to the training with tired bodies after their long trip, but open hearts and humble souls as they learned the lessons that would help them accomplish their commission to search, teach and baptize the Lord's chosen people in preparation for His return to the earth.

Thank you, Sister Torres, for posting these pictures. You may never know how much it means to the mothers back at home!

Your blog is an inspiration to so many of us. We've been looking through it almost everday since November when our son (Jordan Smith) got his call. He goes into the MTC in 3 weeks and will be joining all of you in April! Thank you for diligence on documenting your mission!

What a treat! Thank you for letting us peek into the lives of your missionaries and the service being given in your part of the Lord's vineyard. We are so excited Elder Hale is finally there! May God bless you all!
