On April 13th we received a wonderful new group of missionaries. 20 total. This means that 2/3 of our mission has missionaries who have been in the mission 6 months or less. Some of the new Senior companions are fairly new themselves, yet we have faith that they will do just fine, because this work is not the work of young men, but this work is of God. It is to bring about salvation to the souls of Guatemala who are ready to enter into a covenant with Him.
Our new missionaries are Elder Lusty, Landon Anderson, McPhee, Hebert, Thacker,Anhder, Winkel, Fadel, Bronson, Hatch, Morrow, Dixon, Smith, Castro, Jose Gonzalez, Monzon, Chavarria, Chirinos and Sisters Endicott and Gomez. We have been waiting for you...now we can move forward!

Thank you so much for taking the time from your long day to post these photos and your thoughts. We have been waiting for this photo for 5 months...ever since our son received his call back in November 2009! Thank you for loving our sons/daughters and for guiding them to be an instrument in the Lord's hands. We will continue to pray for the success and protection of you and all your missionaries. We look forward to the continuation of your journey in Guatemala.
With much love,

Dear President and Sister Torres,
This is Mark Brady, Elder Joseph Brady's dad. This is a great blog! I'm glad I found it.
If you happen to see this message, please ask Elder Brady to call me on Sunday, May 9. He was planning on calling on Monday, May 10, but I can't get off work then.
Thank you,
Mark Brady

My wife and I look forward to each new update to Torres Zion. We're huge fans of the blog. As we look at the pictures we feel like we too are part of the great adventure that is preaching the Gospel in exotic and remote Guatemala.
Thank you President and Sister Torres for taking care of all the missionaries in the Guatemala City North Mission.
