Guatemala City North Mission

...let us labor diligently: for if we should cease to labor, we should be brought under condemnation for we have a labor to perform whilst in this tabernacle of clay, that we may conquer the enemy of all righteousness, and rest our souls in the kingdom of God. Moroni 9:6

President and Sister Torres,
You will be greatly missed in this mission. You have done an incredible job and have affected the lives of so many missionaries for good. Thank you for all you have done, and will yet do before you leave in July. It will be a great day when the Lord will show you all of the good you have done! I hope you will post when you will speak in your home ward. It would be wonderful to hear your report.

Hola! My name is Edward Asdel. Actually Edward Dale Asdel. I am excited to see that I share the same first and middle name of the new mission President. Plus my son Jake has been called to serve in the GCN mission, and reports to the MTC on April 6th. My wife and I love the blog. I am glad that our son will also have the opportunity to serve with President and Sister Torres for a few months. Have fun and enjoy.

Dear Presidente and Hermana Torres, It will be hard to fill your shoes in Guatemala. Your love and devotion to our missionaries has truly blessed the lives of thousands of people. Thank you for being their parents away from home and for being such amazing instruments in the Lord's work. We are happy to know that you will be able to be with your beloved family in Utah soon. We look forward to meeting you in person this summer. Thank you for this blog and your many hours devoted to it so our families can get a better glimpse of mission life. We will sorely miss it when you are gone. Much love to your both!
